Mr. Cyrus is a 1964 graduate of Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After spending three years in management with a national retail firm, Mr. Cyrus entered the claims business with Lynchburg Adjustment Company in 1967. During his first sixteen years in the claims industry, he established an excellent reputation for himself as an all-lines adjuster in the mid-Atlantic states region. His area of expertise includes heavy casualty losses, garagekeeper’s liability, long-haul trucking liability, heavy equipment and cargo claims.
In 1982, Mr. Cyrus moved to Houston, Texas, and joined Paul R. White & Company. In addition to his expertise in investigating, evaluating, and negotiating the most complex casualty claims, he also has vast experience in the handling of several types of property damage losses. Included in his property expertise is experience with hull damages on pleasure crafts, cargo losses, third party property damage claims, and habitational losses.
Mr. Cyrus possesses strong interpersonal skills which have allowed him to effectively negotiate on behalf of our clients in mediation, and afford him the needed techniques to investigate cases involving serious injuries and fatalities. His ability to analyze medical treatment and other specials while properly assessing liability allows for proper evaluation of serious bodily injury claims.
